This Scandinavian winter classic has
been revisited and crafted into a much
more New World-palate friendly
version by our friends on the North
Shore of Chicago. Don't get us wrong - if
you've ever had a sip of this savory
spirit's old-school cousins from
Grandma's freezer, this is still true to
the original - caraway-based and aged
in new American oak for six months.
However, Master Distiller Derek
Kassebaum's version is great on its own,
on the rocks, or mixed (especially with
Reed's Green Label Ginger Beer!) Try
some immediately (if you can find it -
they're only in the Midwest right now.)
